Alkagesta has published its 2025 ESG Report, outlining the company’s progress across environmental stewardship, social responsibility, governance and ethics over the past year.
Key highlights include:
— 380 vessel assessments and 284 counterpart KYC screenings under a compliance framework aligned with UN, EU, OFAC, OFSI, and SECO sanctions regimes
— UCO recycling volumes growing to 1,856,631 kg collected (+11.4%) year-on-year
— Launch of 0.1 ULSFO trading in the Mediterranean and continued development of the Biofuels Business Strategy
— Community partnerships deepened with the Arab Bank Foundation and WISTA Malta
