Nouakchott, Mauritania | 18–19 June 2026

Alkagesta participated in Mauritania’s Industrialization Era: A Reservoir of Opportunities, a business and investment forum that brought together investors, government representatives, financial institutions, and industry participants to explore commercial, industrial, and investment opportunities in Mauritania and the wider West African region.

Organised by the Africa Development Club, the event provided a platform for dialogue between public and private sector stakeholders on economic development, industrial growth, infrastructure, and regional trade. Alkagesta was represented by Rustam Mirzoev from the Business Development Function.

The programme combined panel discussions, business-to-business and business-to-government meetings, and visits to industrial sites, providing participants with direct exposure to projects, institutions, and decision-makers supporting Mauritania’s industrial development and economic growth.

For Alkagesta, participation in the forum reflects the company’s growing engagement with African markets and its continued focus on identifying opportunities across commodity trading, energy markets, logistics, and global supply chains in regions of increasing importance to international trade and investment flows.
