Alkagesta took part in the 20th anniversary celebration of SUISSENÉGOCE, the Swiss Commodity Trading Association, held under the big top of Circus Knie in Geneva. Alkagesta was represented by Orkhan Rustamov, CEO, and Orkhan Zeynalli, CFO.
President Nicolas Matter and Secretary General Florence Schurch opened the evening, tracing the association’s path from an idea founded by Geert Descheemaeker and Jacques-Olivier Thomann to a respected voice for the sector. Schurch also highlighted the wider network behind Switzerland’s trading hub — banks, insurers, logistics specialists, inspection and certification firms, legal experts, educators, recruiters, and consultants.
