Tashkent | 15–16 October 2026
Alkagesta participated in the II Annual Central Asia Oil & Gas Forum in Tashkent on 15 and 16 October, with Javid Guliyev, CIS Regional Trader, representing the company across the two-day programme. The forum brought together energy industry leaders, policymakers, and investors to address the most pressing questions facing Central Asian energy markets as the region undergoes rapid transformation across logistics, regulation, and its growing role in global energy security.
The 2026 programme centred on securing regional energy cooperation and optimising supply chains, with sessions covering regional oil and gas reserves and production strategies, cross-border trading routes and logistics infrastructure, refining capacity and market access, investment and risk management, and the development of public-private partnerships across Central Asia.
As Central Asian energy markets continue to evolve — shaped by shifting trade corridors and an expanding role in global supply chains — the forum provided a timely platform for dialogue on the opportunities and challenges defining the region’s next phase of development. For Alkagesta, with an active presence across CIS markets and a trading platform spanning petroleum products across approximately 48 countries, participation reflected the strategic importance of Central Asia within the company’s broader regional operations.
