Alkagesta hosted its Banking Partners Summit in Malta, bringing together the company’s international banking partners and local stakeholders for a day of engagement centred on Malta’s growing role as a hub for commodity trading and trade finance.

The summit reflected Alkagesta’s commitment to transparency, strong governance, and the long-term relationships that underpin its global trading operations. Commodity trading runs on trust, and the event provided an opportunity to welcome and thank the banking partners whose continued confidence has been central to the company’s growth.

The programme combined formal meetings with direct operational exposure to the infrastructure supporting Alkagesta’s Malta activities. Following a gathering at Alkagesta’s headquarters, participants transferred to Evos Malta for a terminal visit and lunch meeting with Evos Malta management — providing first-hand insight into the storage and logistics infrastructure that forms part of the company’s Mediterranean trading platform. The day concluded with an office meeting and a networking reception.

With the commitment of Alkagesta, local authorities, and Malta’s terminal operators to transparency and strong controls, the island is well positioned to continue growing as an international centre for commodity trading and finance.
