Alkagesta’s Singapore team has gathered ahead of SIBCON 2026, with Orkhan Rustamov, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, joining the office for the week. The team also welcomed back Diyana Scott, Office Administrator, returning from maternity leave — a moment that reflects the growing depth of the Singapore operation as it enters its second year.

SIBCON 2026 brings together the global shipping and bunkering community in Singapore — one of the world’s most important energy trading and bunkering hubs. For Alkagesta, the conference represents an opportunity to engage with counterparts across the shipping, marine fuels, and commodity trading sectors, deepen existing relationships, and explore opportunities across the APAC region.

The gathering takes place against the backdrop of a landmark first year for Alkagesta Asia. Established under Alkagesta Asia Pte in July 2025, the Singapore hub has grown rapidly to become a meaningful presence in the regional marine fuels market. First-half 2026 results reflect the pace of that growth:

  • 1.65 million MT delivered, up approximately 104% from 0.81 million MT in 2025
  • Revenue of $1.01 billion, representing approximately 171% growth versus the full year 2025
  • Delivered volumes reaching approximately 250,000 metric tonnes per month — around 5% of Singapore’s marine fuels market

That progress has been built step by step — through the development of the right infrastructure, relationships, and market capabilities, and by assembling a strong team on the ground in Singapore.

Alkagesta looks forward to a productive week at SIBCON 2026 and to the next chapter of its Singapore and broader APAC operations.
