Alkagesta participated in the IFA Annual Conference in Monaco — one of the most significant gatherings in the global fertilizer industry, bringing together producers, traders, financial institutions, logistics providers, and industry stakeholders from across the fertilizer value chain. The company was represented by Fertilizer Desk Lead, Vusal Muradov and Fertilizer Trader, Tural Sabirzade from the Business Development Function.

Conference sessions addressed the key themes shaping the global fertilizer market, including:

— Global supply and demand fundamentals, regional market trends, and pricing outlook

— Supply chain resilience and the impact of geopolitical developments on international fertilizer trade

— Energy markets and their implications for fertilizer production and costs

— Food security, sustainability, and the evolving regulatory landscape

Beyond the conference programme, the Alkagesta team held meetings with fertilizer producers to discuss production capacity, supply outlook, and commercial opportunities; engaged with international traders on regional demand, pricing trends, and trade flows; met with banks and financial institutions to discuss trade finance conditions and credit availability; and connected with shipping brokers and logistics partners on freight market developments and transportation outlook.

For Alkagesta, participation in the conference provided valuable insight into the developments shaping global fertilizer markets, international trade flows, and supply chains, while supporting the company’s continued expansion across fertilizer trading and global commodity markets.
