Alkavex at the Wire & Tube Düsseldorf Steel Industry Event

Alkagesta Steel Trading arm – Alkavex participated in Wire & Tube Düsseldorf, one of the world’s leading international trade fairs for the wire, cable, tube, and supplier industries, serving as a key platform for industry dialogue and strategic exchange.

The company was represented by CEO Jean-Pierre Artigala and Deputy CEO Nijat Osmanli, alon
gside colleagues from the Business Development function — Guillaume Frisou, Jean-Baptiste Artigala, and Julio Sicardi. The team engaged with industry leaders, partners, and stakeholders across the global steel value chain, exploring emerging trends and strengthening key relationships.

The event took place against a backdrop of growing industry-wide concern. At the show, EUROMETAL — representing European steel distributors, traders, and service centres — launched a formal Call to Action alongside national federations and steel producers, calling on EU policymakers to take swift measures in response to rising import pressures, global trade distortions, and elevated energy costs placing the entire European steel ecosystem at risk.

Reflecting on the event, Deputy CEO Nijat Osmanli shared:
