Singapore, 13–16 April 2026.
Alkagesta participated in the Argus Biofuels & Feedstocks Asia Conference 2026 in Singapore, held as part of Argus Energy Horizons Week – a week-long programme bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and market participants to explore the future of energy across biofuels, aviation, marine, and carbon markets. The company was represented by Biofuels Trader Anthony Guida.
The conference provided a comprehensive platform for cross-sector dialogue on the policies, investment trends, and supply chain dynamics shaping Asia’s role in the global energy transition. Discussions spanning the week covered the regulatory landscape for sustainable aviation fuel, including next-generation production pathways, the evolving carbon markets ecosystem, and the commercial potential of green marine fuels – with a particular focus on bio-methanol as a scalable bunker fuel option.
Alkagesta’s participation comes at a moment of meaningful momentum in its own biofuels activity. Earlier this year, the company signed a multi-year biofuel storage agreement at Pantank facilities in Antwerp, Belgium, expanding its capacity to support the flow of feedstocks and biodiesel into the European market and improving access for smaller suppliers to inland European markets. Separately, Alkagesta announced it will begin supplying jet fuel blended with sustainable aviation fuel through NATO’s Central European Pipeline System – covering airports including Brussels and Frankfurt – marking the company’s first direct airport supply agreement.
Against this backdrop, Alkagesta’s engagement at the Argus conference reflects the company’s growing focus on biofuels as a core component of its trading portfolio, as well as its active participation in the global conversations shaping the sector’s development.
