Alkagesta has completed its first truck-to-vessel marine fuel supply operation in Constanța, Romania. Two trucks delivered a total of 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil on 2 October 2026, marking a further step in the company’s expanding distribution capabilities across Romanian and Black Sea energy markets.

The operation reflects the broader commercial momentum Alkagesta has built across European energy markets throughout the decade. Earlier in 2026, the company secured access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System, commencing Jet A1 deliveries into the European aviation market at a time of acute supply pressure across the sector — with increased military use of the pipeline adding further complexity to civilian fuel distribution. Alkagesta also completed its first crude oil transactions during the period, including end-to-end delivery of approximately 1.07 million barrels to the Far East.

Across sustainable fuels, Alkagesta secured a multi-year biofuel storage agreement at Pantank in Antwerp and a five-year feedstock offtake agreement for Used Cooking Oil, strengthening the company’s position across the European biofuels value chain. In Asia, the Singapore hub reached monthly marine fuel trading volumes of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes in its first full year of operations, while the fertilizer desk continued to navigate a market shaped by significant supply chain disruption and food security pressures across global agricultural markets.

The Constanța operation adds truck-to-vessel delivery to Alkagesta’s distribution capabilities in Romania — a market that has played an increasingly important role in the company’s regional petroleum products and biofuels activities throughout 2026.
