Alkagesta has been featured in Malta Today following the publication of an article covering the promotion of Darren Axisa to Country Manager Malta, a role in which he will lead the company’s expanding operational presence on the island.

The article highlights Axisa’s nearly two decades of experience across Malta’s maritime, inspection, and energy sectors, including over thirteen years at Bureau Veritas before joining Alkagesta in 2023. It also covers the company’s growing Malta platform, with storage capacity approaching 300,000 cubic metres across Evos Malta and Enemalta, and group trading volumes rising from approximately 5.2 million metric tonnes in 2023 to over 8.7 million metric tonnes in 2025.
