Paris, France, 12–14 May 2026.

Alkagesta is participating in the IATA Aviation Energy Forum 2026 in Paris, France, hosted by the International Air Transport Association. The company is represented by CEO Orkhan Rustamov, alongside colleagues from the Business Development, Finance, and Operations functions — Alasgar Yusifli, Asad Huseynov, and Alasgar Guliyev — who are engaging with senior industry participants across both the commercial and technical sessions of the forum.

The IATA Aviation Energy Forum brings together airlines, fuel suppliers, traders, logistics operators, and policymakers for focused dialogue on the most pressing issues shaping the global aviation fuel market. This year’s programme is particularly timely, with sessions covering:

  • Europe’s evolving jet fuel logistics landscape amid declining refinery capacity and rising import dependence;
  • The commercial and regulatory frameworks governing SAF mandates and compliance costs;
  • Shifting global jet fuel trade flows driven by refinery rationalization and geopolitical developments;
  • The integration of digital tools and standardized workflows across fueling operations.

Alkagesta’s participation in the forum reflects its growing engagement with the aviation fuel sector. Earlier this year, the company became a strategic partner of IATA — a milestone that followed the launch of its jet fuels trading book and its agreement to supply Jet A-1 blended with sustainable aviation fuel through NATO’s Central European Pipeline System, covering airports across Germany and Belgium. The forum provides a natural platform to deepen these relationships and engage with the regulatory and market developments shaping the sector’s future.
