Alkagesta at the 5th Annual Oil Operations & Demurrage Conference

Alkagesta participated in the 5th Annual Oil Operations & Demurrage Conference, held at the Richmond Hill Hotel in London. The event, organised by Pequod Associates in collaboration with Minton, Treharne & Davies Group, brought together 140 delegates from 44 companies across 18 countries — including oil majors, independent trading companies, shipowners, charterers, legal counsel, and market analysts — making it the most ambitious edition of the conference to date.

The company was represented by Nihad Hamzazade from the Demurrage Team at Alkagesta.

Now in its fifth year, the conference has established itself as a key gathering point for global leaders in trading operations and demurrage. As the organisers noted in the official conference introduction, it is “a unique event where global leaders of demurrage and operations and their teams are in the same room at the same time,” highlighting the conference’s role as a rare platform for industry insight, practical discussion, and professional exchange.
